Ps4 ff14 unable to download patch files

Instead go to steam download the free trial and it will install 8 gb and then you will get the launcher. Sign in and bam done. So the TL DR use steam and get the trial version to download the game. See this is a huge problem, if you have to use a VPN to get patches then its pointless to try and download it. The problem, which has been outlined in several other posts and several other threads is that the ISP in question is flagging the patch download as P2P file sharing and essentially blocking it.
